Goes anywhere. Captures anything.

A GoPro has been at the top of our wish list for a few years now and we are so grateful we took the leap and purchased the Hero 8 last year.

Review

This dynamic, pocketable little camera can honestly go anywhere and in a few short months has been used on and off various mounts, in the sea, swimming pools and water slides.

The built-in mounting fingers at the bottom of the camera make it super easy to change mounts without the hassle of cases or adapters. As long as your accessory was made for a GoPro, the mounting fingers can fold out and be fastened – easy!

The only downside we have noticed so far is the camera’s battery life. Being a small device producing a big service the energy is sapped quickly if you’re recording for a long time. That being said – the image quality being produced, the slow-mo setting and the new HyperSmooth 2.0 stabilisation outweigh the not-so-great battery life. Additional battery packs can also be bought and charged to keep as backup if you’re going to be filming all day or away from a power source for some time.

Another wonderful feature about working with GoPro is their super easy-to-use app. Once downloaded on your smartphone or tablet, you can wirelessly upload directly from your camera, edit, and share on social media in a matter of seconds! You can also grab still shots directly from your videos and save them as photos and create movies or highlight reels using the Story feature on the app.
